Anyone know how to take off the pulley for a water pump?

I have a 1989 Pontiac 6000 2.5Litre 4cylinder. Took off the serp belt to change the water pump. Took out almost all screws in water pump except the screw thats behind the pulley. You can not access this screw w/ pulley on. I have a pulley puller but the engine compartment is too small for it 2 fit. Also Any one know about the pulley tensioner because after I took off the belt it doesnt seem like the spring is working?Anyone know how to take off the pulley for a water pump?Apply a little heat to it ,and tap it lightly all the way around it.this should do it and about the tensoner, its bad replace it while you are there.If you need more room to work ,try loosening frt motor mount and raising engine.Anyone know how to take off the pulley for a water pump?It could just be boogered on there really good from corrosion. Have you tried PB Blaster Penetrating Catalyst?
