Having water pump changed on my Xterra & looking at Vogue magazine in the waiting room. What percent is film?

Vogue appears to be nothing but a huge collection of advertisements. Wow! I had no idea you could stuff that many pictures into a fashion magazine. There must have been thousands of images...how many to you think were made using film?Having water pump changed on my Xterra %26amp; looking at Vogue magazine in the waiting room. What percent is film?It all depends on who was taking the original shots - there is no way to really tell otherwise.

The majority of fashion snappers have now gone over to digital but there are still quite a number who still use film.

Same with product shots - a lot of it will be done on large format which will still be film but those using mf will probably now be using digital - whichever is used the post processing will be digital these days.

Hiryuu - not strictly true. I know snappers who still shoot on film (myself included) sometimes. Sure the post processing is done after the film is scanned and digitised but the originals are still film.Having water pump changed on my Xterra %26amp; looking at Vogue magazine in the waiting room. What percent is film?none, everything in advertisement(especially mags) is digital and photoshoped now
