I was changing my water pump and in the process i broke the tensioner and i went and got a new one screwed it on and now it squeals. i was told there was a spring action kinda deal going on with it ... but um i need to know how to put it on correctly with a prybar or something i need details people!!!

AS FAR AS REPLACING IT , SHOULD BE A PLATE BEHIND THE PULLEY TO REPLACE TOO
